First things first, let’s bring the Timer into view. Look towards the top of your Workspace screen, to the left of your logged-in name. You’ll see a discreet Show timer button (it might look something like a small clock icon). Click it! This will make the Timer controls appear on your screen.
Controlling Time: Your Timer Toolkit
Once the Timer controls are visible, you’ll find a set of handy buttons to manage your time tracking:
- Start the Clock: Click the Play timer button (usually a triangle pointing right) to begin tracking the time you dedicate to a specific task.
- Take a Break: Need to pause your work? Simply click the Pause timer button (often represented by two vertical lines). The timer will stop, and you can resume whenever you’re ready.
- Fresh Start: If you’re beginning a new task or need to discard the current tracked time, click the Reset timer button (typically a circular arrow) to set the timer back to zero.
- Keep it Concise: Once you’ve started a timer, you might want to minimize the controls. Click the Hide timer button to tuck it away without stopping the tracking.
