Custom Reports

Unlock insights hidden within your ProLaw® data.

Standard reports fall short. We design and build custom SSRS reports that extract exactly the data your firm needs — from financial breakdowns to matter performance and everything in between.

Why custom reports matter

Every firm has unique reporting needs driven by their practice areas, management style, and client requirements. The built-in ProLaw® reports provide a solid foundation, but they can't anticipate every question your firm needs to answer. Custom reports bridge that gap.

Whether you need to track realization rates by practice group, generate compliance reports for specific clients, or give your managing partners a real-time view of firm performance, custom SSRS reports make it possible. If your firm is running ProLaw® 2017.1 or older, you will almost certainly need custom reports after upgrading — many built-in reports changed or were deprecated in newer versions.

What we build

Our team builds a wide range of reports including financial summaries, profitability analysis, accounts receivable aging, work-in-progress tracking, productivity metrics, matter performance dashboards, and client-specific billing requirements. We also build reports for trust accounting, 1099 preparation, and other back office needs.

Beyond financials, we build front office reports that many firms overlook — conflict of interest reports, calendar and docket summaries, matter status overviews, and contact or relationship reports. If your firm needs better visibility into what's happening on the practice side, not just the billing side, we can build that too.

Every report is built using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), the native reporting platform for ProLaw®. This means your reports integrate seamlessly with the system — no third-party tools or manual data exports required.

From concept to delivery

We start by understanding what questions you need your data to answer. From there, we design the report layout, write the SQL queries, build the SSRS report, and iterate with your team until the output is exactly right.
